Utah lovers of spicy food know there can never be too many Indian restaurants in Salt Lake City. While Indian cuisine had been a bit slow to catch on in the beginning, there are now dozens of Indian restaurants across the valley.
No longer do you have to go all the way downtown to find great authentic Indian food. In fact some of the best Indian restaurants I have come across have been tucked away into unexpected suburban neighborhoods, including mine. Imagine my surprise when the new Indian restaurant just around the corner not only had amazing food, but a great atmosphere and patio to enjoy as well. Downtown may still be great for some things, but when it comes to Indian restaurants in Salt Lake City, seems like it’s best to stay close to home.
